Glorious Cape Winter Weather

After a gloomy weekend of rain, snow, and – in some areas – power cuts, Capetonians have been treated to the kind of “Green Season” winter day that we live for – and the fine weather looks set to continue for at least another 24 hours.

There’s not a cloud in the sky, all is calm but for a few warm breezes, and the city’s infamous winter haze – a brown cloud that hangs around on certain days, because of wind patterns – has utterly vanished, affording splendid views across the water to the mountains of the winelands.
